Myvatn accommodation since 1982

Eldá ehf. started operating in Myvatn in 1979 and has offered accommodation since 1982.

The current owners, Jón and Guðrún have been involved right from the start in 1979 and have been lucky enough to find talented people to take good care of the guests.  Many of our employees have been with us for several seasons, most of them come from Estonia and have almost become part of the family.

The owners are members of the Reykjahlíð family, an old and established family in Iceland, and also members of the family which has owned the Reykjahlíð farm since 1895.
